Our Hearts Ache...

... but we are still so proud of our Red Raiders. It was a tough loss to stomach and it was an even harder fall in the rankings this week. Nevertheless, we persevere and look forward to the last game of the season against Baylor. Read this story to soften the blow...

Some of us will be with our families this coming weekend for the Thanksgiving holiday, however, a game watching gathering is still possible. I just need to know if anyone is interested in watching so that I can give BWW proper notice. Please let me know no later than Wednesday evening. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:30pm.

Happy Holidays!

GAME TIME ANNOUNCEMENT

We have word that the Tech vs OU game will be televised at 7pm on ABC. Buffalo Wild Wings is the place to be. The address is 2555 West 75th Street #103 in Naperville. Its in the new shopping center off of Rt 59 and 75th with the new Whole Foods Market, World Market, Nordstrom Rack, etc. When in doubt, google it! See you then!

Every game this season has seemed like a clincher but, lets face it, this game determines our fate in the Championship game. ESPN College Game Day will be in Norman, OK for the game so be sure to watch it between 9 and 11 am. If you're friends up here are anything like ours, they are jumping on the Red Raider bandwagon... bring them with! The louder we scream, the better the crowd... the bigger the memories! Email me to let me know if you are coming so BWW can get the seating in order. Brian and I will be arriving at 6pm.

And, finally, for your reading pleasure and article titled, "Appreciating Texas Tech in the Moment" http://www.sportingnews.com/blog/the_sporting_blog/entry/view/14674/appreciating_texas_tech_in_the_moment

Did anyone else see the strange signs the Oklahoma Cowboys were holding up during this past weekends blowout? Well, here is a sign that was left behind in Lubbock by the Okies.

Can You Say... AMAZING!!!

Well, they did it again. Our Red Raiders are simply amazing. We gathered at Buffalo Wild Wings this time and had a blast watching our Raiders on several screens with great sound thanks to the bars "Sound Dogs". Next week is a by week so lets hope Crabtree can rest up his left foot for the game against Oklahoma on the 22nd. The AP and USA Today Polls still have us ranked at #2 so we anxiously await the BCS Poll's rankings. Regardless, we couldn't be happier for our team.

When more info comes my way about the time and station coverage for the Tech vs. OU game I'll post it right here. Stay tuned!

But, for those of you who attended the game watching at BWW... would you prefer to stay there or return to the Foundry?

Alumni Holiday Dinner

If you have not given your RSVP its not too late! Please leave a comment, respond to the evite or the email and let us know you'll be joining us. Additionally, please let us know if you will be bringing others with you so we have enough food for everyone.

If you have not received an invitation to the dinner but would like to attend we'd love to have you! The cost is $6 per person and that will get you dinner and an entry into the raffle for a 2008 Tech Tech Holiday Ornament.

We will also have a "meeting" to talk about our chapter and if there are specific things members would like to do with the chapter (volunteer work, more game watchings, raise money for a scholarship, travel, sport teams, guest speakers, play dates, dinners, etc.)

I sure hope to see you there!
